Hi there, I’m Ashley!

Educational and developmental psychologist and founder of Wholesome Minds Psychology.

You may be wondering about starting therapy or feeling like maybe it’s time you talked to someone.

Whatever brings you here, I am so glad you have taken this step and am here to help.

I understand how important it is to have a therapeutic space that feels safe, supportive, and truly aligned with your goals and values.

My aim is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

My approach to therapy is warm and compassionate. Having a felt sense of safety is so important. I adopt a neuro-affirming and strengths-based approach, always considering your individual needs.

I believe in the importance of collaboration, a holistic approach, and supporting the system around you.

What I can support you with:

  • Learn to better identify and regulate your emotions

  • Support and regulate your nervous system

  • Understand perfectionism and how to work with it

  • Working with neurodivergent individuals to understand how your brain works and implement neuro-affirming strategies

  • Understanding the roots of your anxiety, so you can move forward with practical, holistic strategies

  • Support with interpersonal difficulties

  • Work to build your self-esteem and confidence

  • Building healthy routines and habits

  • Parenting support

Theraputic approaches

I predominantly work with the following theraputic approaches:

  • Helps you manage thoughts and feelings in a healthy way, so you can live a life that aligns with what matters most to you.

  • Identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours to improve mood and coping.

  • Encourages present-moment awareness and non-judgmental acceptance, helping reduce stress and improve emotional regulation.

  • Supports emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and relationship skills.

  • Incorporates play to help children express themselves, process experiences, and build skills in a safe, supportive environment.

  • Focuses on how emotions show up in the body. These techniques help young people develop awareness of their physical responses and learn tools to support regulation and safety in the body. This might include breath work, grounding techniques, movement, or sensory strategies.
